Orders & Postage

Can I speak to someone if I need help with my order?

Absolutely. Feel free to call us on 0401 315 450 during business hours. We are here to help and can also take orders over the phone.

Will brownies stay fresh during postage?

Brownies are heat sealed in a cellophane bag (plant derived), packed with compostable foam pellets into a cardboard mailer box. The box is then enclosed in a reusable bubble wrap foam envelope to stabilise the temperature and reduce any movement during transit.

How long will it take for the brownies to arrive?

Most parcels arrive within two to three days, Australia-wide. However, due to current postal unpredictability, some orders may take up to five business days to arrive.

Do you charge extra postage for 2 boxes?

No, we can post 2 boxes together in the post bag. Any extra cost will be covered by us. If more are required and they can’t be picked up, we can negotiate on postage costs.

Can I return brownies if I don’t like them?

Sorry, but no. In the unlikely event that you don’t enjoy them, we cannot accept a return or offer a refund.

Can I place a brownie order in advance?

Yes, of course you can… up to 6 weeks in advance works for us. Please contact us or leave an order note on the checkout page.

Storage & Preparation

How long will brownies keep for?

Shelf life is 4 weeks, when refrigerated on arrival to you.

Do they need to be refrigerated?

To keep brownies as fresh as possible, yes, it’s best to keep them in a sealed container, in the fridge.

Can the brownies be frozen?

Certainly they can. Brownies are made to order, posted fresh. They will freeze willingly and happily, when sealed, for 3 months.

Can the brownies be heated?

Most definitely. 10 seconds in a microwave, or 2 minutes in a preheated oven. Oven-warmed works best to crisp the edge. Some say they are best from the fridge, cut into a fudgy sliver. The brownies will become cakier, the warmer they are. We don’t recommend heating until more than just warm.

How can I serve the brownies?

A just-warmed brownie served with fresh pear or berries, coupled with quality vanilla ice cream, is a favourite of ours. Alternatively, simply dusting the brownie with cocoa powder also works well. Glory on a plate!

Ingredients

Do brownies have wheat flour in them?

No, they are wheat-free. They contain a special gluten-free flour, which we make onsite. However, we do bake brownies in a kitchen that may have miniscule particles of wheat-flour here and there, so I cannot guarantee that we here at ByronBrownies are 100% gluten-free. Just 99.9%!

Are there any brownies suitable for someone with a nut allergy?

All the brownies contain almond meal. If the allergy relates to a specific nut, we can provide alternatives.

Are the brownies all natural?

Yes they are. The brownies contain no preservatives, colours or artificial flavours. Orders are baked fresh each week, then posted. Sugar acts as a natural preservative!

Are vegan brownies available?

Sadly not at this time.
